An Atlanta-based rapper named Dolla was brutally shot and killed at the Beverly Center in Los Angeles earlier this afternoon.

Hey'lo Jaqshetters, first and foremost I'd like to apologize for not posting anything in the past month, wow It's been almost a month...I PROMISE WOULDNT HAPPEN AGAIN.

So where has Jaq been, and what in the hell has he been up to?

Shit, I have been pretty good and up to many things as usual. Since its my first time back on the blog since prior to inauguration I need to put one up for OBAMA for trying to handle his biz in a house which probably takes him a half hour to get from one end to the other.

However, the year started off good just cause of big O, which is part of me being good because it has everyone feeling good about something so you know that always plays a part. Asside from that, I've been up to a lot. Spent the first 2 weeks of the month in London which turned out to be a great inspirational experience thanks to the hommies: Kish, Greenslade, Graham, Master Shortie, Bluey, Zues, Fahid, Bally, Bexie, and just everyone else that I met while out there. Shout out to DJ Fast of FM Criminals who let me rock with him on the 1's and 2's at bungalow 8, and cant forget about pretty lady Emma for showing the love. Ok enough with the shout outs...back to what I've been up to...I've been up to alot actually working on my DJ sets, focusing on my brand finaly working on designs ranging from accessories to jewelry for small collectiong which will be out really soon, just got myself a book on The Dynamics of Fashion which is a book FIT students work out of and more.

Also congratz to my brother Ryan Leslie for the release of his album which made top 10 on itunes the first day. Just spent my friday night out in Foxwood, CT for Ryan's/T-pains show which was dope....YOU MUST CHECK R. LES OUT LIVE too much energy on his live set.

Ok back to me again, But yeh just been working towards my dreams as well observing myself as much as possible to fix any lil bad habbits that I may have...something not many ppl do or take the time to realize about themselves.

From what I've read about the Shiro SQ-S Solar Media Player there are quite a few differences from all the other media players out there right now. One great difference in this media player is that its Solar Powered so no having to carry a charger at all times or even waiting for it to charge. In fact, while it’s got 16GB of storage on board, support for WMA, WAV, M4A, FLAC, APE & OGG audio formats and an FM tuner that allows you to record broadcasts, the 1.8-inch 128×160 LCD display is kind of sucky, and if you want to watch video on it you’ll have to convert it to an SMV file first. Also lame.

But it does manage to distinguish itself from the hundreds of other cheap portable media players on the market thanks to the large solar cell covering the entire back of the device. This allows you to charge the internal battery via the sun if you don’t have access to a USB power source. Unfortunately it isnt mentioned how long it'll take to fully recharge the SQ-S using just the solar cell, or if the promised 38 hours of music playback (screen off) requires a constant source of light or not.

They say the best gifts you can give at Christmas are the ones you make yourself, but from my own experiences, that probably only applies to people who work in factories that produce cellphones or HDTVs. However, even if there’s someone on your list who’s a techno-snob, I think they’ll appreciate getting something like this DIY Wearable Toy Piano shirt. It was designed by Instructables author ‘mikamika’ who actually created it for the diy* Festival that was held in Zurich this past weekend.

Most of the electronic components are scavenged from a kid’s toy piano, but the shirt also features conductive fabrics and threads so that the keys end up all over the place, which makes playing it more fun I guess. What I like most is that the shirt ends up looking pretty slick, with the various components being arranged in a rather pleasing design. A very good reason why I love researching on the net, I have just found out that there are observation decks all throughout the world. For those that know little about Jaq, one good thing to know is that I do not like traveling to spend time in the nicest, most luxurious, private places...I dont even like vacationing by that I mean that if I am traveling somewhere someone is gonna have to cut a check eventually. These observation decks are now the greatest piece of information if encountered to date, now when i travel I will make sure to stop at an observation point for inspiration..KEYWORD inspiration which is basically equivalent to me putting in work. Leonardo Da Vinci's "The Drawings From The Biblioteca Reale in Turin", an exhibit organized by the Birmingham Museum of Art, is currently being supported by an indemnity from the Federal Council on the Arts and Humanities. This exhibition made possible by the Foundation for Italian Art and Culture is currently going on through Jan 4th, 2009 at the Fine Arts Museum of San Francisco. Another artist art that I never studied but have seen his work basically every where I go...I seem to have some things in common with his work when it comes to sketches....A piece by Jaq below.
